The 2006 FIFA World Cup comes to a close in July and Rogers Sportsnet concludes its live, high definition coverage with a semi-final preview show on July 3 followed by the first semi-final on July 4. Sportsnet's coverage concludes on July 8 with Road to Gold (preview of the final two games) followed by the Third Place Match.

The Jays are on Rogers Sportsnet 20 times in July highlighted by a four-game home-stand versus the New York Yankees beginning July 20. The four games plus four other contests in July will also be available on Sportsnet HD.

The MLB highlight of the month is the Home Run Derby (July 10) and All-Star Game (July 11) from Pittsburgh. That is just the beginning in July for baseball fans as Sportsnet serves up 36 games in 31 days.
